Communication is obviously the key to a great scout troop. Troop 950 prides itself on being Scout-led, which unfortunately leads to a lot of questions as scouts are learning how to put all the information into emails, on the website, etc, in a timely manner. Please, work with your Scouts to have them ask their SPLS. That is the best way for the SPL to learn AND also your scout to learn the questions that parents have. Please remember, there are monthly committee meetings for parents to get what is going on with the troop and all the plans. Please signup for committee meeetings here. We use Google as our primary platform becuase as the kids age, they are able to access things thru their school accounts and we find our scouts prefer this method. We also allow ease for checking their emails during their school day. If you are having issues with receiving the emails listed below- we HIGHLY recommend getting yourself a FREE Google Account. You can also check the directory HERE for a listing of emails. You can also get setup with a text that gets sent to you to check your spam.
Troop 950 leadership (both Scouts and adults) communicate with the troop via email. These emails are sent using Google Groups.
